Recently several customers have been calling and emailing us,
looking for a natural browning lotion which can be used inside tanning salons.

Tanning salons are very insistent that lotions used DO NOT contain mineral oil.
(mineral oil stains the acrylic glass in tanning booths)

Unfortunately most browning lotions use mineral oil as a base.

We went to the Maui Babe factory and picked up several cases of Maui Babe Indoor Browning Lotion.
This lotion has all the wonderful qualities of the original Maui Babe,
but w/o any mineral oil! :)



(instead it uses Sunflower, Safflower and Kukui Nut oil).
which are all wonderful NATURAL OILS

When I unscrewed the cap and smelled it for the first time, I was ecstatic.
It reminded me of the most delicious coffee gelato I had ever tasted.

LOL If your body craves to eat it,
then its definitely natural and good for your skin!

Even though this lotion is named "Indoor Tanning Salon Formula",
I highly recommend it to any sun lover who wants the best, natural tan possible.
(It is a bit more expensive, but i think supporting natural products and treating your body well is worth the extra bucks)

I've blogged before about the importance of eating fresh local foods.
Well here is a real treat.... fresh pressed sugarcane!

If you've never tried sugarcane juice, please do :)
The flavor is absolutely amazing and it gives you a wonderful, healthy buzz.
(I literally sang aloud for an hour straight after I made a smoothie with this as my base)

Big Mahalos to Janet and Jerry @ Kupa'a Farm in Kula,
they set me up with the sugarcane and were kind enough to let me borrow the juicer



I used the juice in a local Mai Tai contest.
In this video I was testing 4 different type of sugarcane for flavor
Ended up getting second place in the competition :)

Which means i won free airfare and hotel to Kona on the Big Island....
I'm so stoked!

Aloha friends -

I finally got our blogger updated and back up again :)

One of my old college roommates, Bob came to visit me this past week. His lovely girlfriend, Claudie, snapped these pictures of me playing on the beach with the amazing Goldie.

Goldie's three years old and is hands down the fastest swimming dog i've ever seen.
She and I try to run/swim a few miles @ the beach everyday together.

Maui Nightlife just got a whole lot more fun my friends...

This past weekend a new club, Timba, opened in the 505 district of Lahaina, Maui.

The club is absolutely beautiful, sitting right on the ocean with cool breezes and an open patio to escape to after tearing it up on the dance floor.

Maui Nightlife has been hurting for some years now, but thanks to Timba, the nightlife will be getting a breathe of fresh air.

The music is fun, the lighting sexy and the cocktails delicious.

If you're looking for nightlife I highly recommend visiting Timba on your visit to Maui.
